Boys and young men are struggling. Over the past 50 years they have disengaged from school, work, relationships, and broader society. They are falling behind academically, struggling with loneliness and isolation, and facing rising rates of substance use and suicide. This award-winning 45-minute documentary film draws on the work of Richard V. Reeves (“Of Boys and Men”), illuminating these trends through powerful data and personal storytelling. Set in rural Vermont, the film invites audiences to think about how they are experiencing these issues in their own lives and communities, and how we can all be a part of the solution.
